Our adventure started long before MediaMate was established as a company. As young men with a background in the armed forces, we dreamed of creating something together. Our first business was about team building and challenging survival trips for young people.
Here we learned the value of strong collaboration, but also the harsh realities of building and running a business. Our paths parted for a while, but the dream remained.
Daniel pursued his love of visual storytelling and founded By Egsgaard, where as a wedding photographer he captured big moments and honed his creative craft.
Steven gathered experience in the armed forces and trained as a helicopter pilot. Flying demands extreme structure, a sharp overview and precision under pressure. Steven is the one who lands the wildest creative ideas safely and keeps our processes running smoothly.
We started with photo, video and content. But again and again we saw the same pattern with clients: they didn't need yet another supplier — they needed one partner who could take the whole picture.
